Honda EX5 Dream FI Modified With Thai & Vietnamese Style

The current generation Honda EX5 was introduced in Malaysia in 2015 replacing the previous generation Honda EX5 Dream 110 which was first introduced in 2013. The Honda EX5 generation was introduced in Malaysia starting in 1987.

The Honda EX5 Dream FI is more powerful, offers dynamic performance, is faster, safer and has a sportier appearance.

 

In addition, it still maintains features such as quality, practicality and fuel economy through the use of electronic control techniques, fuel injection system (FI).

 

The FI system typically used on larger engine motorcycles is capable of offering environmentally friendly performance and better ride quality.

 

Through the combination of 110cc engine and FI system on this new model now, it is said to be able to record fuel consumption as high as 58.3 kilometers per liter of petrol.

 

It's larger fuel tank with a capacity of 4.3L can definitely reduce the frequency of refueling. At the same time offering convenience to riders for longer journeys.

 

In terms of appearance, the EX5 Dream FI is designed to look more modern and stylish. The tapered head cover with chrome logo gives a sporty look. The chrome -colored damper cover not only looks more attractive, but also acts as an additional safety feature.

 

A series of improvements as well as anniversaries were also introduced for this version.

 

However, after a few years, the Honda Cub known as 'EX5 Kambeng' (for some reason called                'kambing'/goat ) received less response than the previous generation.

 

Some argue that the injection system is less popular than the previous model carburetor system.

 

In Thailand, this model was introduced as early as 2011 and is known as the Honda  Dream 110i. The Thai version at that time also came with either a kick starter or an electric starter.

 

In Vietnam the EX5 series known as the Honda Super Dream 110cc was introduced in 2014.

Here we want to bring you a customized version of the Honda EX5 Fi from Malaysia. It belongs to a young man from Johor.

Muhd Anuar made modifications by replacing most of the parts from Honda Dream Thailand and Honda Super Dream Vietnam. Maybe the ones from Thailand and Vietnam are prettier and better than Malaysia, ha.. ha...

The new 4 -month -old motor continues to be replaced with meters, handles, taillights, side mirrors, are original items from Thailand. Includes a central iron and also a basket from Thailand.

While parts such as cover seat, seat, rear iron are copied from Honda Super Dream Vietnam.

The handle uses hrc coco grip and the rim uses 1.6/17 excel asia alloy while the tires use pirelli diablo rosso sport tires.
